Urban Gentrification
The case study of Garibaldi District looked at how the construction of Porta Nuova and Gae Aulenti changed the characteristics of the neighborhood.
This analysis placed Garibaldi in the third phase of gentrification, with land value and building quality continuing to increase. But our site showed proof of ‘spotted gentrification’ with pockets of the neighborhood more developed than others.
